first episode! Traffic presents: "John Barleycorn Must Die"

Boomerang! opens the 2010-2011 season with a special episode dedicated to the forty-three output "John Barleycorn Must Die" , album Traffic Steve Winwood who was born in 1970.

As usual, the tribute album will be seasoned by listening to songs from other records of the Traffic and other bands that, at that time, they met their adventure with the group's Birmingham ... and then, again, the experiences of pre-Traffic Steve Winwood and all that "contesualizza" period music and the wonderful disc player of our unique, with its inimitable blend of folk, r'n'b, jazz, soul and psychedelia
... ... enjoy, so ...

to entice them to listen, however, does not leave you without the usual gem ... video that is an outstanding live version of Freedom Rider , recorded in 1972 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium ...
... here are the three which had been Traffic "John Barleycorn Must Die" or Steve Winwood (organ on this occasion), Chris Wood (just look that great work on horns) and Jim Capaldi (the other original member of Traffic, Dave Mason , had already left the band at the time) supported by the musicians who accompanied them on tour and in studio at that time: Reebop Kwaku Baah on percussion, Roger Hawkins on drums , David Hood on bass.
